Kids Who Rock performance 6/13/08 at Max's Place in Bloomington. The song cuts off right at the end, due to battery problems I believe. Griffin, the drummer is eight years old. We've been a band for 2 years. We don't practice very often (i'm a bad dad!).
Big shout out to Holly for shooting the vid!

OMG, Griffin is so cute! Something about him reminds me of Wyatt. Cute smile!! I can't wait to show this to Dave.

Yeah! If Heather wasn't already a drummer we would, like, have a baby. Witness Ornette's kid. On record by age 10 and 12. Stupendous. I'm always recommending to parents to let their kid have a drumset but for some reason they're not too keen on the idea. I guess it takes "Parents Who Rock"!

Hey we got an 8 yr old drummer. All eyes and all that...
The rest is just cake. It's kind of fun cause Terri and I can screw up, but people are usually paying attention to Griffin. Of course now that people like you are documenting things, maybe we ought to practice more regularly.
Charm and my wifes good looks will only take us so far.

Well, he did an excellent job of filling in for Piper. His dancing and Griffin's mugging for the paparazzae are my favorite parts of this video (you and Terri come in as a close second ;-) )

Holly,
The guy in the white shirt is a friend of ours, his son and Piper go to school together. his son wanted to go outside, cause we were too loud. He didn't want to leave, just go outside. piper preferred running around outside too.

And Matt-
We already pay for school, housing and food for him. He does get an equal cut of the door or guarantee. So I figure he's actually getting more than the rest of us.
And he doesn't have to load out his own gear.

I used to use the EQ for a clean boost, but the Maxon OD808 is the best clean boost I've used. I also used it as a treble boost to get that fried-out, denatured Telecaster sound, like on Captain Beefheart's Doc at the Radar Station. That was the s...

The Hotcake sounds brilliant with an AC30. I pretty much leave it on all the time.
