Oooh digitizing the Dog Opera video would be awesome. I have an old VHS tape that might be an okay copy. Do you want me to mail it to you?

You mean the family tree that starts here with my kids:
http://mppierce66.home.comcast.net/ft/pc0.htm

That was done with good ol' hand coded HTML and CSS...

I've now switched most of it over to geni.com; a social-networking site for family trees. It let's the whole family participate, etc.

David -

I stumbled on to this site while looking for some "I ala Flambe". Paul and I were e-mailing each other about Worst Layflat tunes and neither one of us had any Flambe. CCR was quite a treasure. Glad to see you here.

I don't remember it being so high contrast, but since you'd taken pictures of everybody else I thought I'd return the favor. This pic was taken at the so-called "Last Show", which was a pretty lousy performance (though I got a cool pic out of the deal).

It's good to hear from you. I would love to hear what you have from three dicks and Jane. I only have a couple of cassettes.
Is that your almost 3yo that is into Kitty Sister?
BTW- on your site there is a photo titled Candy Apple- the woman in the photo is Linde Rasmussen. I dated her my freshman year. That is my jean jacket that she is wearing.
Nami and I love looking at your photos. It brought back a ton of memories.
Thanks Daron

David - the Datura Seeds fotos are great - more evidence that you've got the skillz . . . seriously, really good stuff.

Sure, no rush. I think Paul's stuff from that time frame is fairly complex to write about and I have a few things to say about it. I'll probably try to have a framework by the end of the week - there are a couple midweek shows, silent movies with unusual screening circumstances, that I MUST attend and that will cut into my drinkin and thinkin time which customarily produces a music essay. I'll check in end of the week and let you know where I am at.

I'm gonna highlight the Datura Seeds stuff in a blog post here (and on my site) soonish - thanks a ton for posting 'em!

Heh! My profile pic is actually my wife's favorite snap of me--October, 1989, at Coronado. I'm a bit puffier and wrinklier these days!

Hey David, sure you can put up the "Not Jazz" recording. I don't recall what it was supposed to be. I remember that's what you labelled my cassette dub of it. We most likely did not have a name for it. I know I was not into to having band names but just using our real names for things. However, I did decide on Sick City Trio to describe anything that Chris, Heather and I did/do.

Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992. If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…

John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
