Teenage EMO Freakout!!!
Check out that Tanner Boyle song, it's from the first record that I worked on that actually got released. The Kooch and I recorded it when we were interning at September Recording in one of those mammoth all weekend recording sessions. It's completely sloppy and out of tune, but were you making records this good when you were a teenager? I played with these guys for a while later on. I wasn't really into this style of music, but their spirit was really infectious. The first time I played in DC was with this band, which seems kind of funny now (it seems like 4 lifetimes ago). Oh, and by the way, this is really from the RECORD (dig those clicks and pops!).
