Wow! First off, greetings and salutations to all those folks that spent too many Thursday nights, and Friday mornings, in my basement. Michelob dark beer, breakfast of the champions.....or was it waking up with the Joneses? Been a long time since I have seen most of you all, and I apologize for my absence. Life, in its infinite twists and turns leads us all to amazing and weird places. I presently live in Salem Oregon and work in Corvallis at the OSU Bookstore. Ironically enough, when Testical Tech went to the Sweet 16 in basketball (1987?)....hell I don't remember the year....anyways they beat OSU to get there.....small world!
Worked with Barnes & Noble (hereafter referred to as the Evil Empire!) for 13 years until they dumped me in 2003....better for the bottom line blah blah blah. My wife, Sharon, was 6 months pregnant at the time...so that made it even more special. My daughter, Chloe, was born later that year. She is now 5 1/2 and is truly hell-on-wheels.
Pretty mellow life now, working in bookstores has only added to my reading addiction. Been doing it for over 20 years....after starting part-time at T.I.S. Bookstore there in Muncie. I'm the General Book Manager, which means I'm in charge of the books people want to read (well some people still do read!) as opposed to those pesky textbooks. Looking forward to turning 47 on the 8th....jeez I don't feel it, most days.....but there it is. Love to go camping, Oregon is great for that. Love to travel, but who can afford to? Still listening to music...went and saw Turbonegro on Easter Sunday last month. Norwegian heavy metal....think Ramones meet Alice Cooper, with a little bit of The Stooges thrown in....Will post more pictures as I get accustomed here, and believe it or not I think I have a cassette at home of the original Herff Jones Show at the No-Bar.....thank you John Sheets for the numerous "Summertime Blues" requests. I recognize so many faces and names here, great to see you all again....let me know if I can embarrass anyone further with stories from back in the day! Cheers!

Steve's right -- you do look exactly the same, Brent. Good to see you here, although I spend more time on that other time waster (FB) these days. And I still enjoy wasting time as much as I did back in Munchie.

Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992. If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…

John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
