- Bloomington is my hometown. With a couple years overseas, I lived there from 1976 until 1990. Since 1990, I have lived in Seattle, which actually means I have lived in Seattle longer than I did Bloomington. If you were interested in punk rock in Indiana, especially in Bloomington or Indy, between 1983 and 1988 or so, I probably made an effort to get to know you. I have been blogging since 2002 at mike.whybark.com, and maintain a raft of subsidiary sites, some of which may be of interest to MFT people.
I learned about the MFT project from Jeb just as they were launching it several years ago - I think Jeb found an archive of some Bloomington music I host at mp3.whybark.com and emailed me about the software I was using to present the archive.

Documenting some interactivity isses in NIng on MFT with Firefox 3.5.4 under Mac OS X 10.6.1

UPDATE: I can't post in comment boxes, and I can't logout. Killing my browser, will be back to see if that fixes things.

FF 3.5.4, Mac OS X 10.6.1, plenty of RAM (4gb), late-model MacBook Pro - the setup has been consistent for a fair while, I'd say the main variable in question is the version of Firefox.… Continue

Pursuant to Dr. Zink's notice of Miriam Linna's nascent narrative of the Ohio mafia, I found her linking to one Houndblog. It is one of those 3:00 in the morning ideas; I saw the shirt in a dream and want one in real life.
What I'm really jonesing for now is a CCAA shirt. Maybe a fake CCAA meeting poster to post around, complete with fake dates and meeting places. We could all put them up on the same day, all of us in different cities. "Fake Posters across America". Steve would like that, or he would make fun of us, I'm not sure...
