You know who you are, come out and be counted! Did you spend countless nights at Second Story? Did you eat at Rockits? Can you barely remember the 1990s?

Thanks for the review Justin! I think the Ryan Adams comparison is interesting. I hear a lot of late 70s, early 80s British power pop influence- Elvis Costello, etc. This is a great album, I've had a few listens and it continues to grow on me.

Marvin, I'm "guilty" of Facebook and Twitter hopping. Like I said to Ed, there will be peaks and valleys and that's fine. I see this as a lifelong project and I know PJ does as well. We will keep pushing it forward as we have time and lately we ha...

Ed- I think it's a somewhat natural thing. There was the initial enthusiasm of the community followed shortly by the passing of LonPaul which pushed a lot of energy to the site. Also John Strohm and other members were actively creating content for...

Yep, I'll be here, but I do miss the daily interactions with a lot of the folks that were here consistently. PJ is even guilty of facebook hopping. All your beta this, flash that and re-skining, I really don't understand. Just keep it going...

New MFT coming soon

MFT 2.0 or is that 3.0 has been under daily development for the last few weeks. After a couple false starts the last year or so we have been able to consistently free up one of our developers at Small Box, Jordan Wilson, who is also a great designer and flash developer. A triple threat he is! We are working from the Kevin Fitzpatrick designs for the overall look and feel of the site.

I expect to launch the site by the end of the summer. I want to get it rock solid before going live if possible.… Continue

Cool Site- South Bend Power 90s

A buddy, thanks Brendan!, sent me a link to a cool blog called South Bend Power 90s documenting, as the title might suggest, bands from the 90s who also happened to live in South Bend/Notre Dame.

I was briefly part of the South Bend scene (89-92ish) and know some of these bands. In pa… Continue

Jeb,
Is it possible to find any Tadd Armstrong cd's. Big Mike Milligan had played me one of his cd's several years ago. It was killer.

Hey Jeb, I gave a comprehensive list of tapes I have to PJ's post. Check it out! I have some kadath but I don't think anything is worth posting so far. My drumming sucked big toes! Peace!

Can't complain, I was pirating sardina songs when I got connected to this site. GOOD JOB! This is amazing. I never thought I would hear the sugarfreaks again! Sorry about LP!! He was a better drummer than I'll ever be. I have a bunch of tapes I am converting to digital and will be posting to the site in the future. Peace!

A labor of Love Directed & Produced by David Carradine
AMERICANA is a tale of a war veteran trying to heal his psychic wounds through repairing a broke down merry -go-round.
The American Soldier, played by Carradine, has recently returned from Vietnam, He takes to the road in search of a home. His travels lead him to Drury, Kanas, right in the heart of the United States. There he finds a long neglected Carousel which looks as lonely and wounded as he feels. He determines to fix it, arousing the suspicions of the local townspeople.

Now they say that his hands were tied behind his back....indicating maybe that he might have been the victim of foul play..in which case I would have to recant anyway..any hoo if you haven't seen his movie " Americana" I highly recommend it..stellar performance by one of the all time greats

RIP grasshopper

Thanks,

Thanks for the welcome, Jeb. I've got my solo album and the two Future albums (plus some live stuff) in my Windows Media Player. I'd love to make them available, but have no idea how to do so. Could you talk me through it? Warning: I'm tech-dense.

Best,
Ed

Warped Tour was a blast! NOFX, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, and The Ataris all put on good shows. Hadn't slam danced in years before this; I don't remember it being that tiring.
