How's it hangin', brother Bob? What's it been? 30+ years?? Seems like yesterday we were banging out the copy on a Smith-Corona in the days when street rags were laid out by real men wielding X-Acto knives. If you're not on Facebook, you should sign up. I've reconnected with lots of old Indiana friend including Lopilato and it's fun to see the status updates and peek at the photo albums. Hope to see you on my next trip to Indiana! -- Merde
I'm still playing music. Have a band in Louisville called Samurai Taylor--all originals, of course. I'm also a part-time RN and own a vintage shop in Louisville called Retro-Fit (123 West Oak St). Some of you older folks might also remember that I was co-founder of the the 70's-era Primo Times weekly magazine. Some of our contributers included musical geniuses Mark Bingham, Bruce Anderson, Rich Stem, Bob Lucas, Bill Schwarz, and Dale Sophia. I would love to hear from people who were part of that great Bloomington era.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Played with Frankie Camaro in the Truckadellics, GoMango, and the Big Rigs. Played with John Barge, Ransom, Ian Brewer, Jim Manion, etc, in Swamp Rats, Deadbeats and Wobblies. Also with Ricky Lee and Elija Pritchett in Like This and with Andy and Linda Cobine in The System.
I keep track of what I listen to, so honestly most of what I give a play is more older music, but these are the ones from the last decade that I listened to the most.
