I started playing drums in the fifth grade In Bloomington, Indiana, taking private lessons and playing in school bands for 5 years. I then began playing and recording in local bands for the next 13 years in Bloomington through out High School, College, and beyond. I recorded with Dragstrip, and released a CD in 1994 on Shredder Records titled “Reaction Time”. In 1998, I moved to San Francisco and resumed my musical education by studying drum set with Robert Danielson, former drummer for Beach Blanket Babylon. I have also continued to play and record with area bands. I have played with the City College Big Band and I played drums on demo CD recordings for San Francisco based bands, Lessick’s Kid and Bug. I was employed as the drummer for the musical “With Relish”, by Morris Bobrow in 2004. I currently play in a band called Bug with MFT member Hans Winold. I married my wife Caroline in 2005. We have three sons; a 11 year old, a 2 year old, and a 10 month old.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Peace Dykes, Go Mango, Dragstrip, Snuff Queen, Lessick's Kid, The SinThetics, Chum, Bug
