Bastard! Find those tapes. History has been lost!!! Actually, it is probably best. It would probably be like watching an old episode of the "Six Million Dollar Man". Was cool when you where 8 yo, but if you watch it today you realize how bad it actu…

"Marching Powder"...that's ripe. I still go to the "old Tomato". It is now called the "Locker Room" (not to be confused with the old "Tony's Locker Room"). It is basically the same except now there is a huge bar on the back upstairs wall and a bar w…

About Me
Went to Ball State 86-92. Was lucky enough to be part of the "No Bar and Grill" scene of the mid-late 80s. Bounced around in some bands playing the bar/party scene during that time.

Now I live with my family back in Muncie, IN after a 13 year stint in Washington, DC. I work at BSU. I am also one of the host of "Alter Ego Comic Cast", one of the top comic book podcasts in the world (no shit...really).

What bands are you or have you been in?
Schoolboys in Exile (1986), Positively Subterranean (88-91), Du Zeitgeist (91-92), Industrial Lounge (92).
What city are you from?
Brookville, IN

Oh, I'm totally chagrinned: out of nowhere this week I suddenly remembered which long-haired Steve I was thinking of. Steve Siler. Don't I feel like an old lady now...

Could you say hey to Spencer for me? It's been a long, long time! Ah, yes, the Talley table(s) -- where the "vegetarian" option at Wendy's (a single hamburger, without the patty) was always the popular choice at, like, 35 cents.

I see PhilG here in Cincinnati, not as often as I should. My last Funeral Home reunion was when Sean Druley turned 40 -- so it's been a while. George Shumar came thru here in maybe 2005 or 6. I hope Charlie's doing well. This site is a blast, and a great place for reuniting and also for wallowing in the past glories!

All names that ring bells for me (Honor particularly) -- plus, I am too intimately acquainted with The Funeral Home. Hmm, this site demonstrates over and over again that my memory is unreliable. Did you know Spencer Davis? I hear he works at BSU now too. We were roomies for a year, in a garage off Light St.

Hey Steve! You used to have long blond hair -- right? Remember BSU's VAX network?? I don't know how I could have spent so much time sitting on my butt in a computer lab, except, umm, I do that for a living now. Crap. Lemme know if I ring any bells -- Celeste

Giles was a member of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival for a while. He recently moved out West in search of a better gig. Daryl moved to San Francisco many years ago and currently (I believe) does sound engineering work - haven't really talked to him in a while.

That's funny. Nobody died, just faded away...

I do remember Zeitgeist - Chris was a fellow percussion major, Karl a fellow party-goer, and Matt and I were in a band called Kwijibo (+Giles Davies, Daryl Frame) for a short time in 1990.

Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992. If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…

John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
