Time does move far too fast. I get older and the years get shorter. I'm in San Diego. Been here for 10 yrs now. Moved for grad school. got an MFA and stayed. Played in bands. Toured - minimally. Released many albums - that had no distribution. So I stopped playing music (recently) and I'm trying to focus on art-making again. I teach Digital / New Media at colleges and universities around town.
Where have you been living? How has life been treating you?

I feel the same way! What a fun night that was, after such a trying week.
Best of luck to you and hope I can question you all again!

Simon,

I felt the same way--totally overwhelmed by seeing everyone after so many years, and under such circumstances. It was great to see you as well though. I just kept sitting by myself and would talk to whomever came over and sat with me.

I hope all is well for you in Indy. It's weird to be back in Austin. It's good, but my life is forever changed now and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do about it.

Love,
Mindy

Thanks Simon! I'm new to this kind of interactive stuff and I probably won't contribute very much. But I am certainly comforted to be feeling the love you all had for my son LP !

simon - that's the first time i've seen your namesake game in many years. i never had the hand/eye coordination for it, but i was so impressed by my friends who could press the lighted buttons correctly.
neena foundry was originally neenaH foundry until we got a cease and desist letter from the lawyers for the real foundry up in neenah, wisconsin. that was in '93 (!!!), pre-google, so i don't know how they found us. we were just thrilled to be noticed.
my church meets in broad ripple at 61st and central - formerly common ground (they just moved out), now trinity. i live down at 22nd and broadway, keepin' it real in the h'zood.

Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992. If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…

John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
