I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.

Good to hear from you. I know it's short notice, but the band I'm in, Stale, is playing at Max's Place at 9pm on Tuesday (the 15th). We just do covers of music we like (i.e., Replacements, Ramones, Clash), but have a good time. Hope to see you there or somewhere. Where have all the good times gone?
