I was the drummer for the Dixie & the Power & Light Co. in my teens. Presently playing old gospel bluegrass guitar with the Oak Grove Gospel Pickers in Tennessee I am the oldest perhaps, as a member of this sight but I am as open minded as they come. Our church members are all inclusive and full of the good love we are suppose to have for one another. Music, in any form, is God's way of speaking to us and it gets in our soul and we just have to dance. Dance on, my friends, dance on!!!
I enoy seeing all that every one is doing and I still have family ties in Whiteland and Greenwood, Indiana. I worked in Brownsburg, and Lebanan and lived in Speedway for awhile.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Dixie & the Power & Light Co. toured the USA
Rhonda Fleming and Company - sang theHoliday/ Ramada Inn circut and private parties - bar scene
Oak Grove Gospel Pickers - anywhere we are wanted to play.
Hey Rhonda, How cool is this? Talk about the power of modern technology. I'm listening to to some of the DPL stuff right now. My cousin went to Johnson Bible College (?) in eastern Tenn. He was the drummer for Rejoice! (early 80's)another in the long list of christian music with a secular slant. Just wanted to say hi and encourage you to contribute some of your more current music.
Pretty good my friend. I tried to download your song"Lord Dont Move Taht Mountain", but I dont hink I had any luck. Are you able to pull up the songs I dowloaded on my page? Maybe Jeb can explain it to you? I'm a lot slow at learning this stuff !!!!!! ....Renee'

Marvin P. Goldstein Where are the blogathons and heated debates nowadays here at MFT?
This show was GREAT. I kept thinking how wonderful it will be to invite PGT back to the Hoosier State for a show - perhaps in an all ages venue - where some of the young music fans and musicians can experience electronic music arising from a very ...

I doubt the dude in the western shirt is very happy about this photo, whereby it appears that the creature from Alien is about to tear through the flesh of his face. Or about being gently chin-caressed by Moz. Or about singing a duet with Chris Sw...
I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.
