I'm a former Indianapolis musician, I played the drums for Dandelion Abortion among others in the 1980's.
I live out in the country now, father of 3 kids, 1 20 yr old stepson in his 3rd year of college, 1 20 yr old son who moved back home, and a 14 year old daughter still at home (she's the spoiled daddy's girl) and I've been happily married for the past 19 years and still going strong.
I make a pretty good living right now as a pencil pusher for a medical supply company, though I was a used car salesman for many long years.
Nowadays, I have been tutoring and promoting up and coming new bands, running a small recording studio in my spare time and trying to start a music magazine.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Dandelion Abortion, the Truckadelics, Slammies, Skunts, E-In-Brinos...too many
Bam,
I've been doing great. I love my job, my wife and I bought a house this past April, so we're still settling in, but it's a nice old house right on the harbor here in Boston. I have 2 boys, 19 and 14, so we're in the thick of all that. I've been playing in bands since I moved here in 1986, with varying degrees of success. I've been in The Konks for the past 10 years and we have a new 7" getting ready to come out soon.
What have you been up to? Are you still in Indy? Still playing drums? How's Spliff?
Dude. it's been way too long. You need to show your face sometime soon. I'm back to being me after a fifteen year hiatus! This pic of me is from E-In-Brino. You forgot us on your band list!
Hey Randy, I used to listen to the old Dandelion Abortion tape all the time. Your version of Man Named Chris was superior to the Datura Seeds version in my opinion.
