About Me
Haven't been back in B-town in a long time but never forgot my roots. Living in Prague Czech Republic the better part of the last decade, San Francisco the years prior. Own a little dive called Blind Eye in a great little neighborhood called Zizkov. Building a live music venue as we speak so all of you with European Tour aspirations keep me posted.

Website not updated the last 4 years or so but if you're interested in what I do, it'll give you an idea.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Never made it outa the garage. In b-ton anyway. Better known as a flailing occasionally bleeding mass of hair at the gigs of others.
What city are you from?
Bloomington

Letter to America

Call me Ishmael. The illusive “White Whale” of god-fearing neo-conservative white-bread and fat-back GOP rule seems all but slain on this day, November 5th, 2008. As the Bush-Cheney leviathan performs its’ highly prophesied and “punditized” death roll to the tune of “nearer my god to thee” I have to ask myself, what took so fucking long?

I quit our fair “Land of the Free” shortly after the 2000 Presidential election for political (though mostly personal) reasons. Witnessing the brooding turmoil… Continue

Hey Noah-- It's been years since I've seen or talked 2 ya. I saw Austin's name recently in a Louisville, KY zine. He was playing with a band at some all ages club. I didn't make it out. I was visiting a friend down there for the weekend.

So my son Isaac is 18 now. He's of course part of the skateboard, graffiti, hip-hop scene here in B-town. (I taught him well). He's recently expressed real interest in going to Hungary of all places in Europe. The more I read about Hungary, the more it sounds fucking cool. If we can save enough $$, we both MAY be able to make a trip to E. Europe. I'm not sure when yet, but it's a strong possibility. The way I see it, I can't get Isaac to stay in school. He expresses interest in Europe, and that in itself would be an educational experience. So, I'm going 2 try and make it happen.

It would be great to hear from you. I worked at an art gallery in town called Wandering Turtle for awhile. Your mom would bring her art stuff in, and she would always talk about you and your family in Prague, showing off her most current photos. You've got a nice lookin' family Lucas. Good job. At least ya did that right! :)

Personally, I couldn't imagine being American and owning a pub in Prague. I guess I just picture them picturing us as having 'no knowledge about what good beer is about'.

Hope 2 hear from ya soon.

Hey Noah, I just checked out your Blindeye web page. Very cool! It is nice to see you are doing well. I remember you saying you were going to leave SF and buy a bar. Well, I guess you really did it.

This show was GREAT. I kept thinking how wonderful it will be to invite PGT back to the Hoosier State for a show - perhaps in an all ages venue - where some of the young music fans and musicians can experience electronic music arising from a very ...

I doubt the dude in the western shirt is very happy about this photo, whereby it appears that the creature from Alien is about to tear through the flesh of his face. Or about being gently chin-caressed by Moz. Or about singing a duet with Chris Sw...

I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.
