Paul and I were goofing off in the basement of Gumby House with Will Holland (1988/9)...nothing serious. We were doing Hound Dog Taylor and Tom Waits instrumentals. We played with some rockabilly stuff. One nignt Jay comes downstairs looking like a cross between James Dean and Brian Setzer. We were playing some Johnny Cash or the like. He says he knows that stuff. He had his guitar in the trunck...a monster Country Gentleman. Will went upstairs and Jay was the new guitar man. Paul had switched to guitar at that time. We had a blast. Jay knew all the 50's stuff. We found out that he dad was friends with Duanne Eddy. Jay went to Nashville and was in BR5-49. I think all this went on after you left PU.

Good to hear from you. I communicate with Paul B. He said he talked to you and you were doing well...family et al. Did I read that correctly - DOA House is a B&B. I remember when we were moving out; the landlord was going to clean the place up a bit. This was at the end of the Bored Cops era. Does that mean the Freakshow Bungalo is spa room? I found Tom and Tara on this site. I told the Burchmeister about it.

RBob / Rasta Bob came about my first day at Purdue. My roommate were concerned with arrest prevention and while in an altered state came up with pseudonyms. We immediately replaced our name card on the door. Mine stuck.

Sadly, I have no good Atomic Clock photos. I started taking pictures about one month before you guys broke up and the show I took pictures at had the camera sync setting incorrect - so all frames are only 1/2 lit, dammit!

i saw Lyle on Buster's facebook - still feel stupid for
letting those 2 get in a fight when Chris' dad came for
that visit. oh well.....
how did you end up in Bloomington ( i was born there ! :)
did you end up going to IU at all, or just go down for a
better music scene. saw lots of shows myself when i moved
out to NYC - sonic youth, ramones, pixies - too many to
mention. tried moving out to SF to restart the band with Maury,
but he was kind of going through some bad times, then ended
up buying a house in Oakland, South Berkeley and that ate up
all his time. Rich, our friend from chicago ended up out there
as well, opening a bicycle shop in Oakland. we lived out by the
ocean, then got married and had kids while working for ILM,
lucas' special effects house. took some guitar lessons, but then we had kids. moved back down to LA as work
was better. never ran into Dano, although he's up in SF too.

i sort of remembered you and your Dad being from out here. we live in north glendale, near the 2/210.
