Nice songs! I could simply say the lyrics are nice... but then I'd be saying you're like James Taylor ... which is nice but rather stiff. I mean to say: (redux, attempt #2) the lyrics are great and the song structure is not your everyday value meal... which is nice, 'cause great lyrics with clever structure is 80% of the battle... (so this leads to redux #3).. then add the timbre of the voice and its all around kick ass. So thanks for posting the songs! So it took so long for the three-headed compliment. Lyrics, Song Structure, and Sound. Wow.

Major: music production & engineering. I actually only made it two years and then my band got a record deal. Eventually (after 10 years on tour) I finished college and now I'm an entertainment lawyer. You?

I wrote a piece about my first year at Berklee on this page and then I took it down. I'm going to re-enable that piece on my page so you can check it out. It will appear in my blog. You can decide if things have changed much since (yikes) 1985.

The Story!

Rooting Indianapolis and Boston, highly acclaimed singer/songwriter Liz Fohl from Berklee College of Music works hard. Fohl is currently promoting her music, an album titled Extended Metaphor (2006), and her new record, Intended Speed, (featuring her smash hit single: “Spaceship”) has sold over 1,000 CDs worldwide in only two months! In addition, Fohl’s new album, Intended Speed, was featured on iTunes as the 43rd top selling folk album. With the success Fohl has received from her wide fan base, Fohl has been heard and featured on 99.5WZPL, 89.3 WJEL, 91.3 WHJE, and BIRN. Yet still, Fohl has accomplished all these feats without even being a signed artist.

The music can be heard at www.myspace.com/lizfohlmusic, as well as iTunes, Snocap, and Amazon. For more information/booking, please contact us via email at lizfohlmusic@yahoo.com

Thanks so much for your time! We hope you enjoy the music!

Hello everyone!

I am just getting started on my recent quest to reach as many people as possible. In the past, my focus has been making music, writing lyrics, and grassroots accomplishments. Lately, things have been growing and developing on a larger scale.

I have been spending a lot of time on the computer, researching and joining and meeting and greeting and learning how much I don't know yet! Everything is very exciting at this point - I am stoked to do work!

Please give my music a listen, and any feedback… Continue

Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992. If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…

John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
