Hye, if it was up to me we would do it again tomorrow. Plans are to do it again next year if we all can be back in Indy again. I had a blast. So, let's hope we can have as much fun again next year.
Hope you enjoyed the show, I certainly did. all three bands seemed to be on good form, the Last Digits were great as usual and Bramble Grit tore it up. Hopefully we can do it all again next year!
Yep, we did open ffor the Violent Femmes and it was a rocking show. Both that show and the Husker Du show at the Sherwood were great nights. Get in touch at the show and I am sure we can hook you up with all the songs and stuff and more in the future. This whole exercise is shaking all kinds of bits and pieces out of the rafters. Tony has been working on cleaning up some of the masters and there is lots of live stuff etc, albeit of imperfect sound quality
Hey Kim, just letting people know that Math Bats tunes such as Another Day and other favorites will be undusted and brought back to life by the original Math Bats lineup at Birdy's 5/29. I saw your nice comment and thought you might like to know. Also appearing will be legends Last Four (4) Digits, Bramble Grit and a short set from Cheese From France. I am guessing a fun time will eb had by all.
Thanks for forwarding my message - him or "someone like him" did send a reply with few words - but they were priceless words, so I know its the man. Kick him in the ass for me & please tell him I will be running off with Ian now - I know he will be proud.
Just checking out this site obsessively - you must be married to Pat Garvey..what deductive reasoning~~I "crashed" in the same house as Pat in 90 - he was living with Cary Harnett...and I can remember no one else at this time. I just tried to clean the kitchen for them. Everyone was coming and going. Garv was one of my favorite characters of all time. Please tell him *Hellow* for me.
Andy, yeah, I know what you're saying...the Lemonheads then instantly faded into multi-platinum obscurity. That's such a great perspective when most people have no idea the band even existed pre-1992.
If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…
I'm not crazy about Michael Jackson or modern-day indie rock, but I will sing the SHIT out of some prime Manilow.
Burd, you nailed me.
I write the songs that make the whole wooooorld siiiing....
ahhhh Bullet Lavolta, their 1st 12" almost bordered on being the new Jerry`s Kids !!! Then they hit the UK with the Lemonheads & they both fell away.....those were the days lol
What gets me is people forget that punk/hardcore was NOT a private party…

Ben Blackburn current efforts for finding a band have been fruitless
Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…
John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
