Yo. My name is Kelso Rockabilly Gimmick Grohl Skywalker. My mom told me about this site, how punk is that? I do promotional work for Piradical Productions & manage the street team. I try to support Circle City Ska as much as possible, too. I started my own zine called Negative Trend last August; it's an art zine that's poorly photocopied and produced. I still like it anyway, though. I also started Negative Trend Promotions, and I book shows at Indy's only all ages DIY venue The ES Jungle along with Stephen Z.
I like making fliers for people & playing around with graphic design. If you want some art for something let me know, I'd probably be up for doing it.
I would tell you how great it is to be in college, except that--it wasn't. Haha. Maybe I'll go back in a while, but I like living with little money and going to shows mostly. I live with Jayess from BoLth in Broadripple and we like to sit around listening to records and play Super Nintendo. If you'd like stop by, let me know, I enjoy company.
My favorite band of all time is The Police, if you don't like it then whatever. I usually get a lot of shit for it, but I'm fairly positive that Stewart Copeland is a genius, and so is Andy Summers. Let's just forget about Sting. He's kind of an embarassment. Other than that I mostly listen to darkwave, post-punk, and more music revolving around those labels that you would consider music from "your time". That's right Generation X, you're getting older! :)
You can usually find me in Irvington, Fountain Square, or in Broadripple.
Favorite local bands:
The Glory City Disasters
BoLth
Mobocrat
Highway Magic
Phoenix Bodies
The Slammies
Zero Boys (THEY'RE FINALLY PLAYING AN ALL AGES SHOW, YES)
UP! Scumbag
Dead In Marseille (RIP)
The Five Second Cummings (RIP)
Gay Black Republican
The Malcontents (RIP)
What bands are you or have you been in?
Currently I'm playing drums for Wait til Wednesday, & Seamstress Scavengers. I also play bass in Brian Peppers Good Time Van.
44 is now my answer (to life, the universe, and everything.) My appologies to Hitchiker's Guide followers. Obama will be the 44th prez & 18 days after he is sworn in, I will be 44. Kinda cool. It is a good time to be...
I dated a guy who thought he was the crazy two headed be Zaphod Beeblebrox. I think I will name my next pet Slartibartfast. Hitchhiker used to be a series on the BBC in the late 70's? it was the only thing that my family did together, every thursday night. I'm a geek,. take care kid-o!

Thank you for being my 42nd friend, that was what I was shooting for. Because it is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. 42!

I think you will find that as bad as school was, it was hella easier than the real world, but I think each person has to find that out on their own.
I personally enjoyed the safety of college and tried to put of the real world as long as I could. But each to their own path. I think things will work out for you, and that your path will be interesting.
