Don't encourage me, because I will talk your damn ear right off. Some things never change. :-) Suffice to say, it''s amazingly cool to see a lot of familiar names of wonderful people I've never forgotten (and sadly, a few I temporarily have, but jog my memory & don't be offended if I forget. I used to drink a bit...). Moved to RVA in '87, married punk rock, hillbilly artist Wes Freed, toured a little for a few years, got Lupus and here I sit. HUGE "Hey!!" to all of you. I hope y'all are thriving.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Bloomington bands: The legendary Spear-Chuckin',CheerLeadin' Sex Monkeys From Hell, with Her Highness, Toni Arcuri. We got voted "Best Band in Bloomington" one year by Mickey Malice magazine, partially because 1-we didn't play any covers, and 2 - we didn't play any originals.
-and then-
Young Lords (devil horns raised - yip!), Betterment of Youth (tee hee), Sign Language, Beat Market. Indianaplis: Mike's House (sorta - thanks for letting me play along guys...), Richmond, VA: Dirtball, The Shiners & sang a bit on Drive-byTruckers' "Southern Rock Opera".
Hey! How you doin these days? Up for a little travelling and excitement? Then don't forget to come see the Neil Diamond Allstars at cats cradle on fri.mar.6 If you get here you are on the guest list.
Finally found this group. What's up?? Hope to take a day trip to Richmond soon - at some point hopefully without the offspring, so we can catch up.

Hi Jill, happy holidays to you and yours. I've been meaning to ask you for a while. Can I get an actual print from you of the Datura Seeds dancing photo. I love that picture! And I look so happy. And that foot, man, could I shake a leg back in the day. Don't know if you have the negative but an actual print is what I'm looking for. I guess a high res will do. Will pay cash!!! Paypal? Please don't feel committed or intimidated.
Hi Jyl, Thanks for responding. Then I guess I can't remember who WAS in GF or Sally's Dream. Good grief. I think I only met you a few times but I did (do) know Toni Arcuri and Sarah Falkner and I have been friends since we were (drumroll please) 7! She left for a month-long trip to Nepal just yesterday. By the way, I really love those gun and possum pics you've got there...Do you have any idea what ever happened to Zot?
