Texting of Weird Al.... I took Hugh to see Weird Al this summer at the Holiday Star Theater when we were at home visiting the folks. Spur of the moment. Al was f%^&%$ing AWESOME. Straight Outta Lynnwood is priceless as was the encore he did that night.... a long version of Albuquerque. NOOOOOOOOO we don't have any jelly doughnuts!

John,

I also sang "Master. Master. Master of Puppets is cutting your hair."

Little did I know how prophetic that was for Metallica.

Other honorable mentions... singing NIN "Doesn't it taste just like butter?" instead of "Doesn't it make you feel better".. I can visualize the Trent Reznor "I Can't Believe Its Not Butter" commercial leading up to the climax of singing the line.
Scence: Trent destroying a kitchen at 6 am while getting his teen age kids ready for school singing:
"Toast! Bagels! Lies! Lies! Waffles! Bagels! Lies! Lies! and Doesn't it taste just like butter?"

We'd really like to! We're working on L'ville and Indpls first, but Lafayette's in the mix. Hope all is well up there!

Thanks John for helping revive the memory cells. The way the drummer worked with the songs was really great. I remember EnuffZ'nuff too, they were super glam.

And I really enjoyed the Lafayette Brewing Company, they really know how to treat musicians right. Did we meet that night? If not I hope we do someday, then I can regale you with my stories about running sound for the always debaucherous Johnny Frigo band. They made Sardina look like a bunch of nuns. That's a joke.

Me too. I got to work with him a little bit when I was doing sound in Chicago in the late 90's. He was such a funny performer and his repetoire was unbelievable. I never saw him play the same song twice.

Can you straighten out my memory? Vito was his pianist and had a 3 inch binder full of songs, but I really loved the drummer who I think was Johnny's son. Is that right?

Are you related to Johnny Frigo the late jazz violinist?
