About Me
I am a filmmaker based in San Francisco who grew up in Bloomington, IN. I just completed a feature length documentary called D Tour about MFT favorite Pat Spurgeon. http://dtourmovie.com

Additional relative filmography includes a music vid/short film called "Carbon Copies" featuring the music of Brando (2002) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFEMdvYjmgQ

A 1993 show I filmed of El Niño and Velo Deluxe at Second Story that I've never did anything with. Perhaps it will find a home here?

And some real embarrassing short film pieces shot on VHS video between 1990 and 1994 that feature the raw talents of Kenny Childers, Joshua Bennett, Jennifer Whitaker, Lori Kirkland, Bob Spelbring, Kenny Pfau, Eloid Ruiz, and if you squint real hard you may notice members of bands like Tangleweed, Go Mango, Speed Luxury, Daisy Glaze, Ruben & the 8 balls and countless others...

I think the VHS masters are eroding away in a closet somewhere.
What bands are you or have you been in?
I have played in many bands that only existed in my mind. Although, in the real world, I did record a few tunes under the name The Static and released a split 7" with The Phantom Drummer aka Pat Spurgeon in early 2001. I think we sold 2 copies at a Ph Drummer show and I still have a couple hundred records left in a box in a closet. If you want one, email me.
What city are you from?
Chicago ('73-'78), Bloomington ('78-'94), Boulder, CO. ('94-'95), Brooklyn, NY ('95-'96), San Francisco ('96-present)

I got the DVD - thanks so much. I'm watching now - what a trip! I'd completely forgotten Michelle Benninghoff ever played live with El Nino.

Hey, man. Had fun hanging out with you at the Bloomington table at Thomas' wedding a few years back.

The documentary looks really well done. I'm really looking forward to seeing it, although not in Bloomington, alas. Let me know if there's a SF event: Liz and I are hoping to be in town sometime before summer.
