It's the Twitter thing

I've had Twitter for a long time but frankly it just seemed like more minutia I don't want to deal with or care about, so I never really got into it. Over the the last year though it seems like some people have found some pretty interesting and useful business applications for it so I've decided to invest some time in the potential.

I really don't have any idea if it will amount to anything or if I will feel swept up by twittermania or not but it's worth the eff… Continue

Yes I am looking for Biff and I am an acorn. I like your photos of Steve Coker. Biff once sent a t-shirt and a pillow emblazened.with Coker's image.

Good news: It looks like Franken locked the vote and unless Norm "The Chameleon" Coleman can pull a legal f-over on the state... We have ourselves a winner! Whew!

Payback for Wellstone me-thinks. (also posted on Nordoffs + Case's page!)

Janie, I recently discovered a great graphic novel that might be a great addition to your family's bookshelf (maybe a present to your daughter for a certain upcoming holiday?...). The title is "The Plain Janes" by Cecil Castellucci (2007, Minx publisher). This book kicks ass! I just read it last weekend - I have no doubt you'll appreciate it too. (P.L.A.I.N. is an acronym for "people loving art in neighborhoods.")

So being the nerd I am, I looked for pictures of me and all I found was one of the top of my head. But I did see a bunch where I was just out of frame...

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, he's a wounded warrior too.

Just look at that melancholy puss. What's he thinking about MacGyvering next?

Aw, unfair! I thought so too, at first, but y'know: wounded warrior. That show works all my most powerful archetypes. That doesn't exactly explain my deep fondness for Stargate SG-1, but what can I say: I love me some MacGyvver.

ELIZABETH COOK, VULGAR BOATMEN at Spencer's Stadium Tavern
December 5, 2009 from 8pm to 11pm
Here’s that rarest of comodities, alt-country that matters. Nashville’s Elizabeth Cook comes across as a true and natural Queen of the Honky Tonks. Her big twang-heavy vocals (squarely in the tradition of heroes Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton) are ...
