Jacks brother steve here, Jack says he had a sun burn that day but I guess he blushing
because he's so shy with the chicks. In any case he says thanks for the rum and coke.
He would type this himself but he has 8 inch nails.
Offen called Happy Jack, I now live in South Bend.
Played guitar in the park in Bloom, Have done more
paintings lately. I visit Bloomington a few times a
year with brother Steve.
'Member when we used ta go to Sisters Chicken on Sunday for all you can eat and fill a backpack full of chicken? Hee hee hee. Wonder what Johnny Hitz is doing? Brian Kaske? What is the sound of one hand clapping?
You look Great! I'm so glad to see you doing well. I'm an ICU nurse now--so of course I want to know all the poop on your medical suit, i.e. what drug, what happened, etc. Give Steve a big smoochie for me!
Heya,
Good to hear from you. Yes, we get back to Bloomington now and then--my mom and Kim's still live there--not with each other--and it is Not The Same. I'm not sure what I'd do if I found myself living there. I think once you've been away for a certain amount of time it makes it harder to reestablish. Funny, I used to talk about the Bloomingtonites who hatched schemes to get off the island (the underwater telephone cable was my favorite), only to end up back in their same old hammocks. Now I wonder: was Seattle/SanFran/NYC/Chicago/Austin/Whatever a big improvement? Hell. B'ton is not a place. It is a time. It's something that can't be revisited. Never-Never Land. The Hundred Acre Wood. Blue Bayou.
Having a great summer, just got back from a long-ass drive from Hatteras Island, sand in every crevice. Now the kids are zombieing in front of the tv and I gotta cut the grass. Life is grand. Pax--D
6 kids bro..can you believe it? Only 4 are biologicals, 2 stepkids (not redheaded) . A set of twins. Man am I busy. That is cool you finally got a settlement from those bastards...I am sure you know you deserve much much more, but I bet they were ready to drag the case on thru continuance and other lawyerly bullshit. My life is quite boring now - it's all legos and crappy diapers, but after the funhouse life I used to lead that's ok. It's great to hear from you brother! Hopefully I will be able to make the next B-town thing, but truthfully it takes military precision and coordination to even get us out of the driveway for a roadtrip
