Warped Tour was a blast! NOFX, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, and The Ataris all put on good shows. Hadn't slam danced in years before this; I don't remember it being that tiring.
By and large, the kind of music discussed on this site isn't, and never was, played on the radio in Indiana. So what was your introduction to it? When and how did you first discover a musical underground?
It looks like Squirtgun is touring this summer (mostly in Europe). I posted the Lafayette date below. Unfortunately, they keep picking dates, that I'm not in town.

Yes, that's right. We're playing there Feb. 28 with a band from New Jersey (the name escapes me at present). And we've just talked with Chicago (former Bloomington) band Deep Cricket Night, who wants to do a show with us at Highlands Tap Room here in Louisville on March 26. The band features Geraldine Haas (ex-Mysteries of Life).

I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.
