This should go to the Bloomington '70s group here, but I don't think there is one - I think we can get the word out this way. There is a once-in-a-lifetime reunion this weekend at the Buskirk-Chumley with Dillon Bustin, Caroline Peyton, Ruthie Allen…
Thanks Eric. Yeah, I'm excited about the reissue, I hope I sell a few dozen. The CD comes out Tuesday. We're doing a radio show on WFHB on Wednesday at 9:30 PM. I put together a little combo for it called The Melting Watch. I think you can stream it off the web. Take care....
Eric, thanks for the invite, and also for noticing the T-shirt. Kinda sad, isn't it, that there hasn't been any activity on the Team Chicago page since June 1st? I only know 3 people in that group, so yeah, maybe there should be a get together soon.
hey eric, long time indeed. i have no time, which is why it takes so long to get back to this site...and i have no 'puter skills either. basically i suck. but you don't. miss you.
Eric, I just saw your comment in the archives thread about RFNR. Would you like a copy on DVD? I would be happy to send you one if you let me know where you would like it to go.
Okay, now I am reading the conversation as a thread, and I can follow it. Thanks for keeping WQAX alive. Give my regards to Zender (I always loved that last name).
I last saw you at Chicago Comics in either 1997 or 1998. I moved to L.A. in August, 1998 (ten year anniversary coming up). Anyway, good to see that everyone is still around, and that no one has given up on the music scene. We all know that WQAX is just on a temporary hiatus.
Oh, it was Smedberg, all right - he even got the wackycam credit in the ending credits. Plus, there's that foot fetish of his, always shooting people's feet.
I keep track of what I listen to, so honestly most of what I give a play is more older music, but these are the ones from the last decade that I listened to the most.

I love procrastinating with this kind of stuff. Here is a start, no order or top 10, but what I would place in the top 100 or so:

School of Seven Bells, "Alpinisms"
Keren Ann, "Keren Ann" and "la Disp…
