Grew up just across the state line (Danville, IL) and then went to Ball State, where I got sucked into a variety of bands with some extremely talented Hoosiers, past and present.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Clifford Nevernew, 7 Speed Vortex, The National Trust, Travel, The 50 Shoes. Also, Ball State University Singers.
Hey there, Eric-
How the hell do I not know you? That seems to happen a lot on this site. Nice to meet you.
Would love to pop down to Cinci for the show, but just can't do it. Where's Giles off to? Do you have another combo in the wings after Mr. Hair Charisma departs? Have a great show-- wish I could be there!
Cliff started in Muncie, so absolutely! Great to hear from you, Phil. You should try to come see us at the Comet this weekend to say "so long" to Giles - 8pm-midnite, Sat Jul 5. The "last" National Trust show (but then, you've heard that one before!) ... anyway, spread the word!
Cheers, Eric! Checking out this network if far more fun than it should be. Seems the 80s Muncie scene is getting a bit more voice around here than the 90s scene. The more stories the merrier!
Any thoughts of adding some Clifford Nevernew downloads?? ( of course I really wanna listen to some of the Shoes, but that may be more Cincinati than INdiana music.)

I doubt the dude in the western shirt is very happy about this photo, whereby it appears that the creature from Alien is about to tear through the flesh of his face. Or about being gently chin-caressed by Moz. Or about singing a duet with Chris Sw...
I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.
