Jim Stafford

James P. C. Stafford, 58, of Bath, OH, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2012 from complications of Crohn's disease. The son of Betty L. and Francis W. Stafford, Jim was a professional drummer who loved rock n roll and jazz. He is survived by his sister, Nadine, of Santa Fe, NM, one aunt, many cousins, and many friends, especially the family of Sandy and Buddy Hartman, who held him as a brother. Livin' in the 80s

It would be nice to revisit the "local music scene", and it's impact on the progression of live music in Indiana. There were little pockets of us in most cities. I was lucky enough to know people in Indy, Bloomington, and West Laffeyette. I think that there are many different views of what was happening at that time, and what impact it had on the development of underground music and its progress.
