Ciao Danny, I would like to continue this conversation in private, please send me an e-mail to this address myname.mysurname@libero.it (if you don’t remember my surname, please ask Jeb Banner, he helped me to join the Indiana Community 2 months ago and he should know my private e-mail address). Of course, if you don’t worry about spamming you can put here your e-mail address and I will write to you immediately! A bientôt, Rossana
I'm trying to get Robert (Girls Can Touch, The Singles) Smith to join on here... I was good friends with the Dead Milkmen and the 2nd time we played with them (at the No Bar in Muncie) Dave "Blood" walked up and just started talking to Robert... afterwards I figured out those two had that whole "West Lafayette" connection... weird stuff...
Once you separate music from the attitude and posturing of the subculture that produced it, you're ready to incorporate it into the vast amorphous ocean of Classic Rock. Which is why you now hear Bowie and Bob Seeger on a classic rock station and not blink an eye. As Derrida might have said, 80s underground music was always already part of the current of classic rock, but we couldn't see it at the time.
is fantastic stuff. You and Kyle Barnett could have one hell of a conversation.
I found my files a bit quicker than I had anticipated. I put them up on the pictures area. These are not scans but recreations that I did to print out with CDs. Unfortunately, there appears to be a bit of digital "distortion" due to changing file formats and picture resolution/size. I will see if I can improve them.
I should have all the Murder Red Window artwork scanned in. Its not on my laptop here but I suspect it is on my work machine or backed up on CD. It will take me a couple of days to get my hands on it. I will find it and forward it to you.
All of the music files on my website are in mp3 format. I suspect that if you dragged the files into iTunes you might have had your iTunes import preferences set to convert to Apple Lossless or some other audio file format so they were converted in the process. If you download the files without importing into iTunes they should retain their mp3 formatting. Alternatively, I could forward the files. I have all the original files in 44.1 kHz/16 bit aif format and mp3.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like. I will probably start scanning some of the more interesting material that I have and post them here myself.
I like this website. I can see my work productivity decreasing significantly in the near future.

Marvin P. Goldstein Where are the blogathons and heated debates nowadays here at MFT?
This show was GREAT. I kept thinking how wonderful it will be to invite PGT back to the Hoosier State for a show - perhaps in an all ages venue - where some of the young music fans and musicians can experience electronic music arising from a very ...

I doubt the dude in the western shirt is very happy about this photo, whereby it appears that the creature from Alien is about to tear through the flesh of his face. Or about being gently chin-caressed by Moz. Or about singing a duet with Chris Sw...
I read it the same way...I became confused by the positive prose that followed - I assumed what would follow was that the music totally sucked. Glad to hear this sort of thing is happening in B'ton.
