The Beertonez Revue is a set of limited performances to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my college band, The Beertonez. It's also a chance to bring these songs to LA, which is something I had always wanted to do. There were many challenges to ...

Excellent Beertonez story!! Sad to say I don't have any pictures of you playing at the outpost. I didn't venture down there much, it gave off DEATH TRAP Vibes as you mentioned. Those bashes drew huge crowds & I was busy trying to keep Ron from burning the landlords picnic table in the bonfire. (I was unsuccessful)
I heard from Ross about 5 years ago. He was in Florida doing some kind of covert "security" work involving "watching monitors".

Happy to host your Muncie music inauguration.

It is odd how chemotherapy has gained a german following of late. Man that photo of the ribs makes me hungry!

Hey Dan - I was in class with Todd at Lapel and then ventured to BSU. You might remember me and my sister, Laura Carter. One of the VERY first parties I went to you were playing a house party - maybe it was a frat house. Don't remember. I was still a high school girl - how special. Howdy to the Snellenbargers! Nice to see you - you look very handsome! Are you still 10 feet tall? I swear, I thought you were 10 ft.tall.:)

RaBob's missing comment is correct: it wasn't Evanga but Matt Cuco (sp?) who played bass on that gem-like 7"...

"Chemotherapy"!!! I remember that 7" 45rpm gem... didn't it have 20+ songs on it??? Some ridiculous amount of material packed onto the smallest vinyl! "I'm smart I'm tough I'm Catholic... that makes me better than you!" is a line stuck forever in my head... God bless George Evanga wherever you are!

About Me
I was active in the Muncie music scene during the 1984-85 school year. I played bass with The Beertonez (also played drums on the studio recordings), did a solo project with the vocalist (Cuozzo), and had a blast!

I have been in Hollywood since 1986, playing a variety of instruments in a variety of bands.

The Beertonez: The Tapes Have Been Digitized!!

Being unemployed has its up-side.

While doing my online job search, I simultaneously spent time with all of the audio cassettes I could find from 1984/85. Considering that I bought some of them from the convenience store for only 89 cents, it's amazing that they're still mostly good.

At this point, I suspect that only a few rogue tapes may be around, but I've not yet encountered them.

Below is a list of what I have digitized. All files are in WAV format.

If you are interested in having some… Continue

The Beertonez Review - Hollywood

The most fun I ever had in college was while playing in The Beertonez. We had a blast, and even made a few bucks here and there. A starving college student couldn't ask for more. Before long, I was thinking about how to get the band to Hollywood to give things a go.

While I was busy thinking this, everyone else was thinking about their own paths and things to do. The ultimate split of the band was the most uneventful thing I've experienced. Everyone just went home. The end.

Still, I wonder.

Show on January 21, 2009 in North Hollywood

Have a gig coming up with my band Noodle Muffin. Since everyone here remembers me (if you remember at all) as the bass player for The Beertonez, I felt it appropriate to post a video of me playing bass from last week at our music performance rehearsal for the gig.

The song is off our new album, "Long Live The Spin: More Regime Change."

We are performing with drums on backing tracks, played by yours truly.

Enjoy!
