So, I went back and added the instruments I have played and still have ownership of. Those are electric bass, piano and a flute. Now, what's true is that I don't currently play any of them. I'd like to change that and have been relearning piano. It's a wee bit harder than getting back on a bike but it is quite doable.
I moved from Bloomington to southern Oregon 13 years ago. I am married since 2005 to Kevin O'Neil. He's an acupuncturist and herbalist for money but also very much an artist and musician. We are childfree, but are the proud parents of 3 cats and a dog.
I have been working here as a librarian for over 12 years. I am in charge of collection development for adult books, music, movies and magazines. We have a very eclectic collection. I also get to do programs, book authors, show films, throw parties. It's a fairly small library so I get to wear lots of hats - and I've always liked hats.
I am really grateful to have grown up in Bloomington!
What bands are you or have you been in?
I was in a band with Herb Rieth and Keenan Yoho that practiced 4 times and never played out. My stagefright was so immense, it would have never worked. Somehow though, playing with the Wild Raccoons (a 5 gallon bucket and various improvised percussion) never scared me!
Please pardon this ever-so-late reply...as my job has me all over the place and I get to check this account every month or so...but I must say you have not changed a bit in these many years!
I enjoyed reading the sordid tale of drunkenness reagarding that night!
