I'm a Presbyterian pastor in Yorktown, which is just outside Muncie. Married with no children.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Not playing in any bands now, except the one I play with in Garageband. I played guitar in the Numbers in Muncie in the mid-80s. The band later became Casual Guise when we relocated to Indy. Andy Richards left our band to drum for Vulgar Boatmen (Andy, are you out there?). I then played bass for Modern Vending shortly in the early 90s.
Will Sibley knows where John Sibley is... I think he's working a straight job in Ohio... If you root around on some of this site (think: Linda B's page or Urschel's) there are some priceless John Sibley pictures...
Bob: do you have any pictures of Mod-X? I'm attempting to do a digital repository of Mod-X into Reaction... I knew Dave Allen from art classes and you and Syno from the Daily News/J-Building and remember Mod-X playing some living room party off campus that Jay Troy and I went to one night... it was like getting hit by musical lightning seeing that line-up (you, dave, mitch, huesby and syno) that night. Later, there was at least one gig where Mod-X played with my 'first' band Jawless Fish at Addison&Candy's art gallery... I don't recall much... maybe somehow a bat got loose in the gallery???
Anyway - looking for pictures and music to archive!
You should all know that an independent movie about punk rock is being filmed in Muncie right now. It's called "My Name is Jerry," and will star Doug Jones from Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth, plus some other minor stars. Check it out:

Hey, strangely enough, I'm to be ordained as a Presbytarian elder next month. No joke.
