Moved to Indy way back in 1987 from New Orleans. What a culture shock!! Met Alec and Merle and formed Bitch Head along with a slew of other bands. Went to IU in Bloomington in 89 and left after graduation for the highs of New York City. Joined a band with Dave Cruse (formerly of the Fuelies and French Licks) and played a few shows in Williamsburg and the lower east side. Left NYC for Cali, couldn't stand it. Headed to Chicago and somehow remained there for 4 years. Vowing never to return to indy, moved back in 03 and have been here since. Now married with 2 dogs and 4 cats.
What bands are you or have you been in?
Chick Magnets
Canadian Genocide
Odd Ball Boys
Bitchhead
French Licks
Cut-Outs
What is up? Looks by the picture that you are chef or were one. Nice, I did that for 20 years or so. miss it a bit. Looking good. Glad to hear from you after so long.
Good to hear from you. Listened to Bitch Head yesterday. Remember seeing BH and some other bands at the Dharma Emporium in Indy, which was cool after seeing all the "I sold my soul ..." stickers all over collins all semester.Still rocks.

If anyone bothering to read this hasn't heard t…

I write the songs that make the whole wooooorld siiiing....
ahhhh Bullet Lavolta, their 1st 12" almost bordered on being the new Jerry`s Kids !!! Then they hit the UK with the Lemonheads & they both fell away.....those were the days lol

Ben Blackburn current efforts for finding a band have been fruitless
Burd, I would never accuse you of being shy about speaking your mind. And I doubt anyone would have thought me anything but a raging snob from way back. And with the anti-Manilow snobbery of the post below, we continue to have plenty in common. FTR:…
John, it didn't seem like good natured to me when I went back and looked. It reeked of pretentious snobbery. Haughtiness. The funny thing is; I'd probably step up and say something if someone was doing it to you. Incidently, there are all sorts of t…
