You're right it was actually June 26 1977 not 76 in Indianapolis.

I hate to nit pick but if these are from Elvis' last concert it would have been in 1977, not 1976. I was lucky enough to see him at Freedom Hall in Louisville in March of 1977 at the ripe old age of four.

Yesh..as my father was the air traffic controller in B-town (Elvis Played at IU the day before)..I was able to shake the hand of THE KING before he took of to play Indy...I remember my Dad was all nervous about the Elvis jet not having enough runway for the take off. I was all nervous because Elvis was extremely over weight.

Very interesting, wonder where that paper is now?

The concert before his final was in Bloomington. Tommy Afterbirth hung out at the Poplars Hotel and got an "autograph" from a piece of paper sent up to Elvis's room. I was always skeptical that it was real, i.e. signed by some flunky while Elvis nodded out on the crapper. But anyway Tommy had it hanging on the wall of his store for years.

Yeah these photographs my "granny" from Kentucky got from a woman who went to the concert. I've had them since I was a kid. Granny lived right next to Butcher Holler where Loretta Lynn grew up too, which I always found interesting. She loved Elvis (probably still does)

I used to use the EQ for a clean boost, but the Maxon OD808 is the best clean boost I've used. I also used it as a treble boost to get that fried-out, denatured Telecaster sound, like on Captain Beefheart's Doc at the Radar Station. That was the s...

The Hotcake sounds brilliant with an AC30. I pretty much leave it on all the time.

This reminds me of what John and Glenn Hicks set up in the studio for their contribution to Velo-Deluxe. Except this times about three.
