Man, I bet that place will be packed! That is some lineup, The Peytons are close to conquering the world, Everything, Now are a great band, they proudly wear the "we come from Muncie" badge. I really want to hear The Bears of Blue River, I like what I have read about them.
That was a fun show. I worked 7-2 that day then got crocked on penny pbr pitchers at Doc's. My "date" took me to Puerto Vallarta where I mistekenly ordered a Michelada which they don't know how the fuck to make and sold me a Bud with Clamato in a Margarita glass. I was blazed too, so I told the fat white bitch who was waiting on us that that was absolutely the worst Michelada I'd ever had, and although I'd still pay for it, it was gross. Furthermore, ever the ass-tute food critic, their pico was largely onion based and the guac was at least 50% sour cream. Shenanigans. Ciudad Colonial is a far better bang for your peso. Oh, and Rev Peyton sang his one note soundcheck song "Soundcheck" for at least an hour and a half. I never need to see that set again. E,N are always tits.
Yes the sound check was like three hours of hell with everything that could go wrong, did. Once the show started though it sounded good and Everything, Now! fucking did a good set and the Rev had a good set as well. Reverend Peyton wants to come back in November - i dont know if i am going to do it or pass it to Mike to see if he wants to do it since I will be living down in Bloomington now. One band I want to work out something with is to have Zero Boys in town.
ever consider having a compressor as the last pedal? I find it can nicely pasteurize the sound before hitting the amp, not always needed but can be nice for solos especially cleaner solos without much distortion.
The Electric Mistress died and I haven't replaced it. A little outside of what I typically do these days (guitar playing as opposed to noisemaking - not offense to noisemaking!). Bill, how do you use the EQ pedal? I know Dale Lawrence uses one, I ...
