Hi,
New here, Question: Are you only allowed to set up a profile pic if you do it the same day you initially set up your account? I remember seeing that option when i first set up page, but i didn't upload one then. After setting up page i decided to upload a pic and did, but instead of becoming my profile pic it just went into my album. Now everytime I click on, "Change My Photo", nothing happens?
Can you help?

Hi Mark, when you click on Change Photo it will take you to this page

at which point you click on the little icon on the bottom there and it pops up a box that lets you load a new photo.
Make sense?

I keep getting this "Unresponsive Script" message every time my page tries to load. I don't know what that is, or what it means, but I want it to go away from my life forever. What can I do?

I get that sometimes too, it has to do with scripts and players loading. I would consider a few things, what browser you are using (use Firefox if possible) and your connection. If you aren't on a broadband connection it can have trouble loading everything. This is a pretty memory intensive site.

also, when that happens you can click, "Continue" and it should load right away

Yeah, I am using firefox, and my connection is here at work...Pretty good. The weird thing is, this just started happening. If I click the "continue" box, it loads, the problem is waiting for the damn dialog box to load every, single. time. I go to my page.

Oh, well. Sounds like no solution.

mmm, not sure, hopefully it will pass. I've found that it kinda comes and goes. It may have to do with how much activity the site has. I have a feeling we will have to up the server/bandwidth soon.

Kurt, my laptop has script issues like that (gmail causes this too, sometimes), but my desktop machine does not (both Macs on Firefox and broadband). I think it is probably a RAM problem, since the laptop is pretty much full. Just my 2 cents.

I have a pony request (can I do this here?). Is there a way to put page numbers at the top of multi-page threads instead of just at the bottom? The bottom numbers are great for the first time through a thread, but for long-running threads, where you know what's on the first seven pages, it would be nice to not have to scroll down to the bottom to move on to a page further on. The is more an issue with video pages that can take some time to load. Just something that I've been wondering about.

I get that "unresponsive script" message every time I look at "My Page". It has to do with the photo applet loading. I am using newest Firefox version on a Mac G4 for what that's worth. Usually I just click "Ignore" and then the photos don't load. Otherwise I have to click on "Continue" twice for the photos to come up.

Not really a problem, just wanted to provide some more info on this.
