Event Description

Longtime Vulgar Boatmen bassman Jake Smith will be Back in the U.S.A. for ten days this month and the VBs are taking full advantage with two Indianapolis shows. Saturday 14 November will see the band headline a full-on electric party at Radio Radio, opening sets courtesy of Old Flames (the newest venture from Chris Kupersmith and Kenny Childers) and David England and the Benders (supporting their new CD, Little Death). The following Friday, the Boatmen close this year's Tonic Ball, at the Fountain Square Theatre, with a 25-minute set of Bob Dylan songs. Then it's back to Merry Olde England for Jake, so mark your calendars and lace up those dancing shoes.

This is a must see show! I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The Boatmen are very under appreciated band. Just like most all, you never know what you got till it is gone. I wonder if mysteries of life are going to play any shows? Dont forget D-Tour is on at 10 tonite WFYI
