The Coltrane Motion was a big surprise for me. The were original rowdy and a good punk rock take on programmed beats and analog synthesizers.

I know, sounds bad. Except for lots of enthusiasm and thoroughly punk rock. Not Pitchfork whiny indie stuff. Coltrane Motion is for real.

That's a pretty, white PVC disc there! I wonder what it sounds like? This is another indie band that I have no idea who they are. Are they on Pitchfork?

ever consider having a compressor as the last pedal? I find it can nicely pasteurize the sound before hitting the amp, not always needed but can be nice for solos especially cleaner solos without much distortion.
